She had been employed for 27 years as a saleswoman at the Max Schwan Corporation on Granby Street. A native of Norfolk, her late parents were John Redmond and Mrs. Julia Corbell Ross. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; a past regent of the Daughters of Isabella; past president of St. Mary's Alumni; past president of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a member of the National Council of Catholic Women. Surviving are a half-sister, Mrs. Mary A. Ansell; four nieces, Mrs. W.J. White, Mrs. W.B. Causey, Jr., Mrs. A.H. O'Rourke and Mrs. L.W. Nunnally, all of Norfolk and two nephews, John W. Ross, Jr., of Annapolis, Md. and Thomas R. Ross, of Pittsburgh, Pa. Rosary services will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Funeral services will be held in Sacred Heart Church tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. *********************************************************************** ROSS, CLARINE ISADORE – At a local hospital, Tuesday, October 10, 1950, at 2:40 a.m., CLARINE ISADORE ROSS, daughter of the late John Redmond and Julia Corbell Ross, in the 66th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
