                         Woman Dies From Accident Injury

Injuries received in an automobile accident on the Water Works Road on May 5 
resulted in the death last night at 7:15 o'clock of Mrs. Katherine Plant Ross, 
aged 22, of 1305 West Thirty-ninth Street.
Mrs. Ross, who sustained severe head injuries, was taken to Memorial Hospital 
from the scene of the accident.
A native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, Mrs. Ross was a member of the Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church. She had a wide circle of friends in the city. She was 
the daughter of the late Joseph Paul Plant and Mrs. Martha Winkle Plant. 
Besides her mother, Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, Henry E. Ross, Jr.; 
one daughter, Mary Frances Ross and two sisters, Miss Agnes F. Plant and Mrs. 
Augustine A. Ohmsen, both of Norfolk.

ROSS, KATHERINE PLANT - At a local hospital, Monday, June 6th, 1932, at 7:15 
o’clock p.m., KATHERINE PLANT, wife of Henry E. Ross, Jr., and daughter of 
Martha Winkle Plant and the late Joseph Paul Plant, in the 23rd year of her age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No. 1305 West Thirty-ninth street, to 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, for funeral services THURSDAY MORNING at 10 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
