Mrs. Sarah Ross of 730 Wilson road, South Norfolk, was given final rites 
recently at St. Thomas AME Zion Church, where she was a member and was active in 
the senior choir and missionary group.

The Rev. M. L. Beamon, pastor of St. Thomas, officiated.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Pretlow Funeral Home.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, Anderson Ross;  a 
daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Bloodworth of New York;  three sisters, Mrs. Nettie 
Williams, Mrs. Ida Clark and Mrs. Elizabeth Bell of Norfolk;  and three 
brothers, the Rev. Russell Wilson of Columbia, SC and Allen B. and Robert Wilson 
of Norfolk.
