Virginian-Pilot January 23, 1918
Mrs. Bridgett Rossano, aged 77 years, died yesterday afternoon, at 4:30 o’clock, 
followings a lingering illness. She was a native of Italy and had been a resident 
of Norfolk for 18 years. She is survived by one son, Rocco Rossano; ten 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place at St. 
Mary’s Catholic church Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. 
Mary’s cemetery.
