Virginian-Pilot June 4, 1941
Nicholas Cornelius Rossano, aged 45, son of Rocco and Mrs. Antoinette Casina 
Rossano, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning at 
12:10 o’clock. Besides his parents, he is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Bridget 
Console, Mrs. A. J. Russo, Mrs. J. V. Barkley, Miss Katherine Rossano and Miss 
Marie Cecelia Rossano; three brothers, Daniel, Arthur and William Rossano, of 
Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the residence, 318 West Princess Anne road, to the 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Thursday morning at 10 
o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held 
at the residence Wednesday night at 8 o’clock.
