Virginian Pilot April 28, 1962

Miss Catherine Marie Rossano, 70, daughter of Rocco and Mrs. Marie Antoinette 
Casino Rossano, a native of New York and a resident of Norfolk most of her life, 
died Friday at 2 p.m. in her home, 318 W. Princess Anne Road, after a long 
illness.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Sodality of the Blessed 
Virgin.
Surviving are two brothers, Arthur Rossano of Portsmouth and William Rossano of 
Norfolk; and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Console, Mrs. A.J. Russo, Mrs. J.V. 
Barkley and Mrs. G.J. Gearhart of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friday, April 27th, 1962, at 12 p.m., CATHERINE MARIE ROSSANO, daughter of the 
late Rocco and Marie Antoinette Casino Rossano, in the 71st year of her age. 
Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services MONDAY MORNING at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
