Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 23, 1949

Mrs. Marie Antoinette Rossano, 78, widow of Rocco Rossano and daughter of the 
late Daniel and Mrs. Catherine Tocce Casino, died yesterday at 10:20 a.m. at a 
Norfolk hospital. She was a native of Corletto, Italy and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 59 years, living at 318 West Princess Anne Road at the time of her 
death.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Console, Miss Catherine Rossano, Mrs. 
A.J. Russo, Mrs. John Barkley and Mrs. Gordon Gearheart, two sons, Arthur 
Rossano and William Rossano, all of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Rose Pinto, of 
Hartford, Conn.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 
services Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be held at the residence tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
