Virginian-Pilot May 31, 1989
NORFOLK - James Edward Roughton, 76, of the 400 block of Painter St., a retired 
salesman, died May 30,1989, in his home.
Mr. Roughton was a native of Hertford, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Ferratt Roughton; a daughter, Page R. Moore of 
Virginia Beach; a sister, Marion Darier of Newport News; a brother, Webster 
Roughton of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery by the Rev. Gene Paradise. Friends may join the family at 1105 Cole 
Court, Virginia Beach. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling 
arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
