Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - September 25, 1990

Vernon C. Roundtree, of the 900 block of Kenton Ave., died Sept. 20, 1990, 
in a hospital.
Mr. Roundtree, a Norfolk native, had been employed with the Urban League of 
the City of White Plains, N.Y. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Sonia J. Roundtree; a daughter, Verdel 
Roundtree; nine stepdaughters; six stepsons; his mother and stepfather, 
Viola and Lee Bourne; and a grandchild.
The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Magnolia Cemetery. 
Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
