Bertha Virginia Rountree of the 800 block of Goff St., went home to be with the
Lord Dec. 5, 2007.

She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk.

She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Rountree.

She is survived by her son, George L. Phillips Sr.; sister, Della Smith; four
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host
of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at noon in First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
