Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 14, 1999 
NORFOLK - Willie Lee Rountree Sr. of the 2300 block of Barre St. died Oct. 9,
1999. He was a retired freight handler with the shortshoremen.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Rountree; his mother-in-law; four sisters; two
brothers; a foster daughter and her daughter; and a host of nieces nephews,
other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Graves Funeral Chapel by the
Rev. Tony McNair. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence.
