Evans St., a native of Erie, Pa., died Sunday in a hospital. He had retired as an automobile mechanic and was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Celia R. Durand of Annadale; three sons, Gerald Wayne Rouse of Melfa, Richard Lee Rouse of Norfolk and Thomas Joseph Rouse of Virginia Beach; a sister, Muriel Sypniewsky of Pleasantville, N.J.; a brother, Edward C. Rouse of New York; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. today in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
