Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, December 12, 1997 
Margretha R. Rouse of the 100 block of Surburban Parkway, died Dec. 8, 1997, in
a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she had retired from private duty nursing. She was predeceased
by her parents, Lillian B. Rouse and the Rev. Willie Rouse.

Survivors include her daughter, Cassandra Rouse; a sister, Cleothia Gibbs; four
great-grandchildren, Rekedia, Courtney, Keonte and Andre Rouse; a sister-in-law;
two brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Mark Church of Deliverance,
615 Washington St., Portsmouth, by Elder James Freeman. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is in charge. Family and friends will
assemble at the residence.
