Services for William Royal, age 64, were held Sunday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the 
New Central Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. William Westbrook, officiating.

He died May 1 at his residence, 411 E. Walker avenue at 8:20 a.m.  Born in 
Bucksport, SC, he had lived in Norfolk 54 years and was employed by U. S. Naval 
Base as boilermakers helper.

He is survived by one daughter, one granddaughter, two great grandsons and one 
niece.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge.
