Friday at 5 p.m. He was a son of the late William Stockton and Mrs. Sarah Petitt Rudd. A native of Norfolk, he left Norfolk as a young man to make Baltimore his home. He had been in Brooklyn since 1943, residing at 130 Prospect Place. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Among his surviving nieces and nephews, are Major Dorothy T. Rudd, United States Army, Army Chemical Center, Maryland, Mrs. Raymond E. Acey, of Norfolk, and R. Gilliam Rudd, of Rochester, N.Y. The body will be brought to Norfolk and taken to the Cox Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery at a time to be announced.
