NORFOLK — Edward Frederick Rudiger, 76, of the 7700 block of Tarpon Place, a 
retired plant foreman, died May 11,1988, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Rudiger, a native of Norfolk, had retired from Royal Silver Manufacturing 
Co. He was the widower of Yolanda Mary Rudiger.
Mr. Rudiger was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus and was a Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include a daughter, Yolanda Smith of Crofton, Md.; a son, Edward F. 
Rudiger Jr. of Virginia Beach; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by the Rev. Edward F. Richardson. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
