Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday July 2, 1950
Mrs. Annie Gilbert Rudiger, 79, widow of Henry Frederick Rudiger, died at 
the residence of her nephew, E.L. Thompson, 1911 Llewellyn Avenue, yesterday 
at 5:57 a.m.
She is survived by a son, Francis Carl Rudiger, of Norfolk; and two sisters, 
Mrs. George Watson of Norfolk and Mrs. Fannie Lewis of Mathews County.
Mrs. Rudiger was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.  She was a member of the 
Wesley Memorial Methodist Church and for 28 years had a perfect attendance 
record in the F.G. Benham Bible Class.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Wesley 
Methodist Church, for funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m.  The body will lie 
in state an hour before services  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetry.
