Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, November 20, 2005 
VIRGINIA BEACH - Lessie W. Rudiger , 92, of the 4600 block of Southern Pines
Drive, passed away Nov. 19, 2005.

Born in Old Princess Anne County, she was the daughter of Willoughby C. and
Lessie H. Lockhart. She was the widow of Burnley V. Rudiger Sr. and was
predeceased by a son, John C. Rudiger .

Survivors include her son, Burnley V. Rudiger Jr. and wife Anne of Virginia
Beach; two grandsons, Burnley V. Rudiger III and wife Mary and Craig E. Rudiger
and wife Jill; one granddaughter, Jacqueline Poole; five great-grandchildren;
her sister, Doris Land and husband Tommy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The Rev. Charles L. Moseley will officiate. The family will receive friends from
7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home &
Crematory, 653 Cedar Road.
