Rudolph will learn with sorrow of his untimely death, which occurred at his home, No. 46 Clay Street, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, after an illness of two weeks, aged 38 years. Mr. Rudolph was well known in Norfolk and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rudolph. He was of an exceedingly kind and generous disposition and never failed to make friends with all whom he was thrown in contact. He is survived by a widow and two children, a brother, Mr. W.B. Rudolph and a sister, Mrs. Mary O'Connor. The deceased at the time of his death conducted business at the corner of Queen and Clay Streets. He was a member of the Elks, Red Men and Emeralds. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church Wednesday morning. ******************** RUDOLPH – At the residence, No. 46 Clay street, Monday, July 8th, 1901, at 10 o’clock a.m., CORNELIUS F. RUDOLPH, in the 39th year of his age. The funeral will take place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church TOMORROW (Wednesday) MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
