She was born in Norfolk, Sept. 27, 1931, to the late Bernadin Giguere and Lennie Brennecke. She worked 25 years at Addington Beamon Lumber Company and 15 years at Rudolph Construction. Mrs. Rudolph was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Bernadin and her loving husband, soul mate and best friend, Joseph. Mrs. Rudolph leaves to cherish in her memory her daughter, Elaine; sons, Joseph Jr., wife Catherine, John, wife Debbie and Jim; her grandchildren, Jason Rudolph, wife Michelle, Laura Hohbach, husband Josh, Anna Rudolph, Christina Rudolph, Jonathan Rudolph; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Joseph Hohbach; and special family friend, Jack Reynolds. The family would like to give special thanks to Melanie, the Hospice team, Drs. Wadsworth, Brown and McGaughey and staffs and everyone who cared for Mrs. Rudolph during her illness. A visitation will be held at Twiford's Colonial Chapel, 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk.
