Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Tuesday June 4, 1935


Mrs. Mamie Ashley Rudolphi, aged 60 years, wife of Charles J. Rudolphi, and 
daughter of the late Capt. John E. and Sarah Lynch Ashley, died yesterday 
morning at 8:10 o’clock at the residence, 1022 Hanover Avenue, Larchmont. 
Mrs. Rudolphi was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, and was a 
member of the First Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, Charles J. 
Rudolphi, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John H. D. Drew and Miss Kate 
K. Ashley, of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at the above residence, 
Thursday at 12 o’clock noon, with the Rev. J. L. MacMillan, D.D. pastor of 
the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be private in 
Cedar Grove Cemetery.
