NEW BERN, N.C. – Mrs. Anna Mae Rudzik, 41, the wife of Edward Rudzik Sr., 
formerly of Norfolk, died Tuesday after a heart attack.
A native of Albany, N.Y., she was a daughter of Henry and Mrs. Mary Sleasman.
The Rudziks lived in Norfolk until 11/2 years ago.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Norfolk, and Chief Petty 
Officers Wives Club of Norfolk Naval Air Station.
Rudzik was stationed in the Navy at Norfolk and retired.
Besides her husband and parents, surviving are two sons, Edward R. Rudzik Jr. 
and James Joseph Rudzik of New Bern; and two brothers, Henry Sleasman and James 
Sleasman of Albany.
The body was taken to Pollock Funeral Home, New Bern.
A funeral service will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk, Saturday at 
noon.
