Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, August 15, 1991 
Maggie Webester Ruffin of the 900 block of Marietta Ave., a retired custodian,
died Aug. 9, 1991, in a Chesapeake hospital.

Mrs. Ruffin was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Clarence Ruffin. She had
retired from the city of Norfolk after 35 years. She was a member and deaconess
of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a member of United Order of Tents 364, Elmira
Elizabeth Chapter and Royal Degree Chamber 1 of Tents.

Survivors include a niece.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Shiloh Baptist Church by the
Rev. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A Tents service will
be at 6 p.m. today in Metropolitan Funeral Home. Family and friends will
assemble at 1:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home for the procession.
