Captain J. E. Rumrill



The funeral of this well-known citizen, a member of the Virginia Pilot 
Association, was solemnized from the Cumberland Street M. E. Church at 3 
o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. W. Crider, of the Virginia Conference, 
officiating. Norfolk Lodge, No. 32, I.O.O.F., and Calumet Tribe, No. 87, 
Improved Order of the Red Men, of which organizations the deceased was a 
member, attended the obsequies. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
