The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark December 30, 1924
Carolyn Littia Russ, aged 12, daughter of John D. and Mrs. Flossie Powell Russ, 
died yesterday morning at 8:15 o'clock at the home of her parents, 625 Carolina 
avenue, Colonial Place.  Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, 
George Russ, and two sisters, Alma and Marguerite Russ.  Funeral services will 
be conducted at the family residence tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock by the Rev. 
Ira D.S. Knight, D.D., pastor of Park Place Baptist Church.  Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
