Final rites were held at the Citizens Funeral Home last week for Mrs. Mattie Lee 
Russell, 66, of 720 Mozart avenue, who died in a local hospital.

The Rev. Larry Melton officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

A native of Portsmouth, Mrs. Russell is survived by a daughter, Miss Betty L. 
Russell;  a son, Walter Washington;  and a brother, Hollie Russell.  All are 
Norfolkians.
