Norfolk Virginian Tuesday July 20, 1897

The funeral of Mrs. Josephine Russell, wife of Mr. W.H. Russell, took place at 2 
o'clock yesterday afternoon from the residence, No. 97 Hanson avenue and was 
conducted by the Rev. L. R. Wright, of Grace Baptist Church.  The interment was in 
Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.  She died at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning after an 
illness of several weeks, aged 28 years.
