The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 15, 1938
Leroy Russell, 49, of 1801 Goode avenue, died at a local hospital yesterday 
afternoon at 4:45 o'clock. He was a native of Norfolk and a son of the late 
Mrs. Lucy Spacy and John H. Russell.
In addition to his wife, Annie P. Russell, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. 
C.J. Capps and Mrs. N.C. Powers, a brother, Alonza Russell, all of Norfolk and 
several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby 
streets, pending funeral arrangements.
