Norfolk - Mrs. Margaret Russell of 1244 Courtney Ave., the wife of Charles
Russell and a native of Edgecombe County,NC, died Tuesday, September 30 in her
home.

She was a nurses aide technician.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and its Usher Board 2, Lydia Tents 1,
Richta Chambers Choir, and Daughters of Norfolk.

Other survivors include three sons, John Russell, James C. Lynch, and Lester
Lynch of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Rosa L. Elliott and Mrs. Mary A. Lee of
Rocky Mount, NC; Mrs. Annie Johnson of New York, and Mrs. Bessie Freeman of
Chesapeake; three brothers, Jack Edge of Hampton, Bennie Edge of New York, and
Johnny Vines of Rocky Mount; and a grandchild.

A funeral service was held Sunday, October 5 in Antioch Baptist Church by the
Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home
in charge.
