Alexander Bernard Russell, Jr., of this city, died in a local hospital on June 
7. He was 18-years-old and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Russell, Sr., of 
1250 Factory Street. He is survived by one brother, John Henry Russell, and 
five aunts and five uncles. He graduated from the Booker T. Washington High 
School in the mechanics department in 1934. The funeral service was hald at 
the First Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. J. Williams officiating, 
assisted by the Rev. Z. B. Evans, pastor of the First United Presbyterian 
Church.
