Virginian-Pilot January 29, 1962
PORTSMOUTH – Mrs. Marguerite Rosalie Russo, 64, of 22 Bainbridge Ave., died 
Sunday at 6:18 a.m. in a local hospital.
A Norfolk native, she was a daughter of Mrs. Agnes Mazzei Gregory of Norfolk and 
the late Darries Gregory and lived here 40 years. She was a member of Holy 
Angels Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Dr. A. J. Russo, a 
daughter, Mrs. George E. Perrot Jr., and a son, Joseph E. Russo, all of 
Portsmouth; three sisters, Mrs. Darries G. Belton and Miss Elda V. Gregory, both 
of Norfolk, and Mrs. E. B. Durham of Virginia Beach; and 9 grandchildren.
The body was taken to Foster Funeral Home where the Rosary will be said tonight 
at 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels 
Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
