Russo, died Wednesday evening at her home, Mariner Street, in her 76th year. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mary C. Lascara and Mrs. Carolyn Pennello, both of this city, and eighteen grandchildren. She was for many years a resident of Norfolk and a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the morning. MARIA ROSA RUSSO The funeral of Mrs. Maria Rosa Russo was held yesterday at St. Mary's Catholic church, with Monsignor J. T. O'Farrell presiding; Rev. P. P. Brennan, celebrant; Rev. George Dunn, deacon; Rev. Joseph Rooney, sub-deacon; Rev. R B. Kealey, master of ceremonies. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang “Abide With Me.” Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery, pallbearers being grandchildren of the deceased, D. P. Lascara, John Lascara, Vincent Lascara, Pedro Caleo, John F. Penello, Otto Penello, Angelo J. Penello and Vincent Penello.
