Norfolk - Augustine Joseph Russo, 88, of Virginia Beach, died May 13, 2016, in 
Stafford, Virginia. Born in Norfolk, he was the son of the late Augustine Joseph 
Russo Sr. and Josephine Rossano Russo. Mr. Russo was a graduate of Holy Trinity 
High School and East Carolina University. He was a member of the Order of the 
Alhambra Star of the Sea Padul Caravan # 69. Mr. Russo was preceded in death by 
his wife, Jo Ann McNeer Russo. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie R. Marushi, 
and her husband, Charles "Barry" Marushi, of Stafford, Virginia, a son Stephen M. 
Russo, and his wife, Lisha, of Plano, Texas, five grandchildren; Justin Russo, 
Jackson Russo, Kara Marushi, Hayden Marushi, Cole Marushi and a great 
granddaughter Isla Russo. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. 
Wednesday May 18, 2016, at the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. 
Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. The family will receive 
friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services from 12:00 until 1:00p.m. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes
