George P. Rutledge, in the 40th year of her age. Funeral services at First Church of Christ (Disciples), Freemason Street Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. * * * The body of Mrs. Carrie Wellford McCurdey Rutledge, wife of Rev. George P. Rutledge, and formerly Miss McCurdey of Norfolk, arrived yesterday morning from Columbus, Ohio, accompanied by her husband, her three daughters and her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. McCurdey. The funeral was held from First Christian (Disciples) yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, the services being conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. M. Watson, and interment was made in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. P. J. Looney sang "Waiting by the River" and "There Will be No Tears in Paradise." The pall-bearers were J. H. Schlegel, R. E. Steed, Robert Burroughs, Jerone P. Carr, J. Frank East, M. C. Holladay, Wilbur Metcalf and J. T. Kirkman.
