Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 8, 1920

RYAN, D. BERNARD - On Wednesday, July 7, 1920, at 6:20 o’clock a.m., D. BERNARD, 
son of the late Daniel J. and Annie Maloney Ryan, in the 19th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No. 401 Westover avenue to Sacred 
Heart Catholic church for funeral services FRIDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends 
of the family are invited to attend.

Young Ryan was a native of Norfolk. He was the only son of the late Daniel J. 
and Annie Maloney Ryan. He is survived by a sister, Miss Isadore Ryan; four 
aunts, Misses Margaret, Catherine, Johanna and Genevieve Maloney and one uncle, 
D.B. Maloney. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
