Norfolk Ledger Dispatch December 29, 1919

Mrs. Mary S. Ryan, widow of Michael J. Ryan, died yesterday morning at 1:40 
o'clock at the residence, 1125 North Park Avenue, in her 94th year. She was a 
native of Virginia and had lived in Norfolk practically her entire life. The 
funeral will be held from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the 
service to be conducted by Rev. Joseph Rooney, of St. Mary's Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mrs. Ryan leaves four nieces, Mrs. Nannie Wright, Mrs. Julia Flannigan, Mrs. 
Rebecca Wright and Mrs. George Bull and one nephew, John Cuthrell, all of 
Norfolk.

Funeral services at the above residence TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 2 o’clock. Friends 
of the family are invited to attend.
