Norfolk Virginia Pilot January 9, 1942

Mrs. Edith Maude Wiseman Sadler, aged 48, wife of Roland E. Sadler and daughter 
of the late William J. and Emma Heard Wiseman, died at the residence, 1115 
Hillside Avenue, yesterday morning at 9:20 o'clock. Besides her husband she is 
survived by two daughters, Miss Norma E. Sadler and Mrs. Margaret O. Winslow, of 
Norfolk; a brother, William J. Wiseman, Jr., of Portsmouth and a number of 
nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sadler was a native of Portsmouth and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for 20 years. She was a member of the Ocean View Methodist 
Church and the W.B.A. of Portsmouth. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
