Monroe; a granddaughter, Mary Lee Rinehardt, all of Norfolk, and a brother, W.W. Sale of Bassett. Mr. Sale was a native of Norfolk and resided at 106 Pennsylvania Avenue. He was a member of the Park Place Methodist Church, Corinthian Lodge 266, A.F. & A.M.; John Walters Royal Arch Chapter, Brevard Commandery 24, Knights Templar, and Morocco Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., of Jacksonville. Mr. Sale was a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and project manager for the Williams Paving Company. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Deaths-Sale, Joseph Bowman-At a local hospital, Tuesday night, March 3, 1953, at 9:20 o’clock, Joseph Bowman Sale, husband of Ethel Bonney Sale and son of Mrs. Fannie Weaver Sale and the late John Bowman Sale in the 53rd year of his age. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon, March 5, 1953, at 3 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
