NORFOLK - Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 5 at the First Baptist
Church for Mrs. Gertrude Salisbury, who died on July 2.  The eulogy was
delivered bythe Rev. H. C. Hill.  The Rev. D. Edward Wells, of New York City,
assisted with the service.  Mrs. Julia D. Fulk read the obituaries.

The pallbearers were N. S. Davenport, E. H. Moseley, E. L. Washington, Hugh
Miller, Walter Willis, R. W. Finney, Gordon I. Taylor and C. H. Buck.

Mrs. Salisbury is survived by her husband, R. J. Salisbury;  one step-daughter,
Miss T. Lucille Salisbury and three step-sons, Jullen N., Robert L., Sfc/Clinton
H. Salisbury;  one brother, Ernest Stephenson, several nephews and nieces.

Burial took place at Calvary cemetery, with the Hale Funeral Home in charge.
