Virginian Pilot Saturday August 29, 1959
Mrs. W. S. Sallinger

NORFOLK - Mrs. Geneva Bonneville Sallinger, 76, widow of William S. Sallinger 
and daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Merritt Bonneville, died at a Norfolk 
hospital Friday at 5:20 a.m.
She is survived by a son, Merritt L. Sallinger of Norfolk; a grandson, Merritt 
L. Sallinger Jr., of Norfolk County; a great-grandson, Austin Lee Sallinger; a 
sister, Mrs. C.A. Shaughnessy of West Norfolk; two brothers, Clarence Bonneville 
of Norfolk and Lee Bonneville of Portland, Me. and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sallinger was a native of Gloucester County and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 60 years, residing at 2535 Grandy Ave.  She was a member of Trinity 
Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 
2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Philip P. Sansone, 5913 S. 
McGinnis Cir., River Forest Shores.
