Virginian-Pilot, 2-22-1945
Alfred Salsbury was born March 28, 1919, and died February 20, 1945, at the 
age of 25.

He was the son of Simon Salsbury and Rosa Legum.

Alfred was the brother of Nathan S. Salsbury; Bertha Salzberg; Frieda Lynn 
Lazarus; Leah Kesser; Sarah Lou Margulies; Ben Salsbury; Irving Salsbury; and 
Ruth Silver.

Funeral services were conducted the afternoon of February 21, 1945 at the 
residence. 

Rabbi M. E. Lansberg, pastor of the Mikro Kodesh Synagogue, officiated. 

Pallbearers were Meyer Yavner, Sol Legum, Bernard Glasser, Meyer Salsbury, Ben 
Zedd, Sam Lafler (sic), Nathan R. Salsbury, Moses Yavner and B. and L. Legum.

Obituary was in The Virginian-Pilot February 22nd 1945.
