A native of Russia, he had lived here for 50 years. His late parents were Benjamin and Mrs. Rebecca Salsbury. He was the widower of Mrs. Lizzie Salsbury. He was a member of Mikro Kodesh Synagogue, Berkley. Surviving are three sons, Morris and Nathan Salsbury of Baltimore, Md., and John Salsbury, of Richmond; two daughters, Miss Bernice Salsbury and Mrs. Fay Loeffler; three brothers, Jake (sic, it would have been Moses), Robert and Simon Salsbury, and three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Zedd, Mrs. Flora Yavner and Mrs. Rachael Glasser, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at the residence. Burial will be in the Jewish Cemetery on Berkley Avenue, Extended.
