A native of Lithuania, he had been a resident of this area for 65 years. He was a member of Berkley Lodge No. 167, A.F. and A. M. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Salsbury. Surviving are Rosa L. Salsbury; three sons, Nathan S. Salsbury, Ben Salsbury and Irving Salsbury, all of Norfolk, and five daughters, Mrs. Aaron Salzberg, Mrs. Clifford Kesser, Mrs. Irving Margulies, all of Norfolk; Mrs. Frank Lazarus and Mrs. Ben Silver, both of Miami, Fla; two sisters, Mrs. J. Yavner and Mrs. M. A. Glasser, both of Norfolk. The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley. It will be taken to the Mikro Kodesh Synagogue, Berkley, for funeral services today at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Jewish Cemetery, Berkley Avenue Extended. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
