Moses Salsbury was born about 1862 in and died at home on August 25, 1953 at 
the age of about 93.

He was the son of Benjamin and Mrs. Rebecca Simovitz Molen / Salsbury.

He was the brother of Freda, Jacob, Robert, Fannie, Simon, Ida, and Rachel 
Salsbury.

He married Lena M Goodman about 1888. She died in 1939.

Moses was a retired dry-goods merchant in Berkley, Virginia and Moses was a 
charter member of Mikro Kodesh Synagogue, in Berkley, and was active in its 
program for many years.

Moses and Lena were the parents of Louis, Annie, Rose, Minnie, Edith, 
Nathanial, Bernice, and Dorothy Salsbury.
