The Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 3, 1943

Mrs. Fannie Elizabeth Salusbury, aged 81, widow of John S. Salusbury and 
daughter of the late Joshua F. and Mrs. Elizabeth Dozier, a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk, died Friday night at 9:45 o’clock at the residence, 2716 
Chesterfield Boulevard. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry Ford, of 
Norfolk, a grandson E. Scott Abbott, U.S. Army, and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, this afternoon at 4:30 o’clock, with J.J. Dozier, reader of 
the Christadelphian Ecclesia, of which Mrs. Salusbury was a member, 
officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
