Virginian-Pilot, November 15, 1974
Lynchburg - Mrs. Dora Levine Samuels, 71, of 215 Lake Forest Drive, the widow 
of Jacob Samuels and mother of Mrs. Laurence C. Macon of Norfolk, died Thursday 
in a hospital.
A native of Shenandoah, PA, she was a member of Rodolph Sholom Temple, Tampa, 
FL, the Hadassah, and Sisterhood.
Also surviving are a son, Stanley Samuels of Lynchburg; a sister, Mrs. Alvin M. 
Sandler of Miami; two brothers, Paul Levine and Morris Levine of Florida; and 
five grandchildren.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk, where a funeral 
service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. by Rabbi Joseph Goldman. Burial will be 
in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
