Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 7, 1914

Mrs. Harriet E. Sanderlin, wife of William Sanderlin, died yesterday morning at 
2:35 o'clock at her residence 416 Rose avenue.  She was 60 years old.  The funeral 
will take place tomorrow at 3 pm. from the residence, and will be conducted by the 
Rev. J.K. Joliffe of the McKendree M.E. Church assisted by Rev. F.G. Davis of the 
Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church. The interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.  
Mrs. Sanderlin had been sick since last Wednesday.  Besides her husband, she is 
survived by four sons--C.D., T.C., L.S. and E.M. Sanderlin of Norfolk; four 
daughters, Mrs. W.C. Crewitt, Mrs. C.E. Morrisette, Mrs. C.E. Roberts, Mrs. Emma 
Martin.
