The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 5, 1938

Mrs. Hannah C. Sanderlin, 37 died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 8:20 
o’clock after a long illness. She was a native of Philadelphia, and had resided 
in Norfolk for several years.
In addition to her husband, Earl W. Sanderlin, she is survived by five 
daughters, Mrs. Davis R. Stuart, Frances, Emily, Hannah and Theresa Sanderlin; 
a son Earl W. Sanderlin, Jr., and a sister Mrs. Lizzie Murphy, of Philadelphia. 
The body was removed to the Gregory Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
