Virginian Pilot June 7, 1958

Mrs. Hannah Ann Russ Sanderlin, widow of Samuel S. Sanderlin, died Friday 
afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John S. Alfriend, 1426 Runnymede Rd. 
after a long illness.
Mrs. Sanderlin was a native of Clarkston, N.C. and had resided in Norfolk for 
more than 60 years. She was the daughter of Ann Eliza Bonney and Dr. Charles 
Dawson Russ.
Besides Mrs. Alfriend, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. William D. 
Sullivan and a sister, Mrs. Robert R. Ford, both of Virginia Beach.
Burial will be private Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery.  The family has requested 
that flowers be omitted, suggesting that those so desiring may make a gift to 
the King's Daughters Building Fund.
