Sanderlin, a well known and highly esteemed resident of Norfolk, died at the home of Mrs. John Foltz, 207 East Freemason Street, Wednesday night, after a lingering illness in the fifty-seventh year of his age. Mr. Sanderlin was a native of North Carolina, but had been a resident of this city for many years and had a host of friends here who will learn with sorrow of his passing. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alberta Bellamy, of Los Angeles, Cal. and a brother, George Sanderlin of Norfolk. He was a member of Norfolk Lodge, No. 32, Odd Fellows, Encampment of Odd Fellows, the Virginia Rebekah Odd Fellows, Junior Mechanics, Black Hawk Tribe of Red Men and Elizabeth Camp, Woodmen of the World. The funeral will be held at the residence of Mrs. Foltz Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Dr. G.W. Berryman of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
